Press Release: Austin Professional Organizers Achieve Distinguished Industry Certifications

Two Professional Organizers from Central Texas leading organizing services company, LivingOrder, were among the first in the organizing
industry and in the state of Texas to receive the Certified Professional Organizer (CPO.) designation. Lorie Marrero, Chief Executive Organizer, and Yvette Clay both achieved the certification, which required a minimum number of paid working hours and experience and a written examination which was administered at the NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) annual conference in April in Minneapolis.

“We are very proud that three of our team members were able to qualify for this exam, and that two of us were able to attend the first examination in Minneapolis,” Marrero said. This was the inaugural examination given by the Board of Certification of Professional Organizers (BCPO), the certifying body whose charter is to increase professionalism in the organizing industry.
